Strollers Super Six Series Finale

You couldn't have written a more perfect script for the final showdown in the Strollers Super Six Series which saw the Golden Girls snatch victory from the Green Goddesses in the final seconds of the match.

Wow! What a series filled with drama, great competition and camaraderie and ending in a thrilling afternoon of netball which saw the Golden Girls grab a 9-8 win over the battling Green Goddess.

Massive congratulations to Sarah and her Golden Girls - and to every single player wearing the yellow bib throughout the series.

"I couldn't have done it without my fabulous Golden Girls," said an emotional captain. "On behalf of both teams I'd like to thank Kathryn, Julie, Jackie, Karen and our wonderful scorers Tina and gang. And of course a massive thank you to our umpires who made all the difference to this series. To Nina; Jamaya; Bronnie; Niki; Karen and Vicki."

The Green Goddesses proved incredible opponents and only a breath of hair has separated our two contenders resulting in a fascinating championship with the outcome uncertain until the final whistle.

The Strollers are an amazing group of women - they play hard but always smile and shake hands at the end - there's no doubt that there will be big celebrations at our Panda Presentation Night - bring it on!
